Avatar of Tiziano Pucci Tiziano Pucci

Fintech Product Designer and digital humanist

Portrait of Tiziano Pucci

For 7 years, I have designed and improved digital-banking apps and platforms used by more than 2 million retail, SME, and corporate customers.

My background in Digital Humanities helps me connect people's needs, system logic, and technical feasibility, turning complexity into clear experiences.

A path between people and systems

My path begins in Liguria and takes shape at the University of Pisa, where I studied Digital Humanities. Learning the foundations of programming alongside the humanities taught me to look at digital products from two perspectives: the people who use them and the systems that make them possible.

After graduating, I studied Information Architecture and UX Design at IULM University. There, I turned that perspective into a design method: structuring content, conducting user research, and building coherent experiences.

How I work today

I start with context: listening to users and stakeholders, clarifying constraints and goals, prototyping, and validating hypotheses before consolidating a solution. My process is rigorous in its steps and flexible in its decisions, because complex problems rarely follow a linear path.

Working closely with engineering teams keeps solutions realistic and sustainable; metrics help determine whether they are effective. On the Design process page, I explain the tools, steps, and criteria I use to approach projects.

Where I am experimenting

Today I am exploring the role of artificial intelligence in design: how it can support everyday work, which skills it requires, and how it changes the way teams and organizations make decisions and build products.

On GitHub, I share projects and experiments that test these questions and move ideas from design to concrete solutions. AI and development broaden how I work without displacing product design from the centre.

Outside work

Outside work, you will often find me at an art exhibition or on a mountain trail with my girlfriend and Gea, our border collie. Some of those adventures become short stories on Popi's Adventures.
